I am now officially a Master of Arts in the area of Moving Image and Sound. I thought of myself as an MA graduate shortly after the NUA MA Show 2018 has ended; however, putting on the robes and crossing the stage made it a special achievement in my life. The graduation ceremony was lovely and the day was sunny ā€“ a nice change from my Bachelor's graduation which took place at night. Iā€™m glad to have experienced both. It was great to see my course colleagues as well as my now close friends and be able to celebrate with them; then disgrace ourselves by consuming gluttonous amounts of alcohol.

I would like to thank my parents for all of their support during and after my MA. I could not have done it without them. Gaining another academic qualification is a privilege and a fantastic achievement which I am so happy to be able to share with them. I cannot wait to celebrate with them again after I ā€“ hopefully ā€“ finish a PhD in the near future.

Congratulations to everyone graduating this year, especially my fellow Moving Image and Sound course mates as well as my wonderful friends whom I would not have the pleasure of meeting if not for NUA. We have all worked hard, and we are damn good at what we do. Some of us have already started their successful businesses; some have begun working in their chosen industries. As for me, I am delighted to start my first postgraduate job as a Technical Copywriter.
